During one of the famous TVs shows The Deep Talk with Mr. Henrie, Grenade revealed how his relationship with fellow artist Big Eye Starboss and bond goes beyond music, as Big Eye played a significant role in changing his life. Grenade revealed that his journey took an unexpected turn when Big Eye, out of kindness and compassion, picked him off the streets when life had hit him and offered him a roof to stay for about a month. Regardless of what was going on with his life, then, he was so eager to watch his talent shine that he expressed his desire to perform alongside Big Eye at Namboole. However, Big Eye, recognizing the importance of education, advised Grenade to prioritize his studies as he was not of a sound age yet. Another pillar in Grenade’s journey is Don Zella, Big Eye’s partner at the time who had already paid Grenade’s school fees, demonstrating her belief in his potential. However, when Grenade discovered this, he chose to follow his passion for music and ran away from Big Eye’s custody. Grenade embarked on a journey that led him from the streets to the stage, and he continued to keep us on our toes with his music, such as Mpulira Bibyo, Nkuloga among others.
