Ugandan Deejay Selecta Jeff has come out and uncovered the role he played in shaping the brand of one of Uganda’s most celebrated music producer & Artist Daddy Andre, disclosing that he, together with Beenie Gunter, is responsible for giving Daddy Andre his now-famous stage name.
He came with this statement out while congratulating Daddy Andre upon his recent marriage introduction ceremony with Sylvia Suubi. As he shades light on their journey together.
jeff revealed how far back their relationship goes, describing Andre as his “day one little brother since 2016”
Base on Selecta Jeff's statement, they first connected with Andre around 2016 going into 2017 which happened through Andre’s elder brother, who was working as a bar attendant at that time. He introduced Jeff to his younger brother " now Daddy Andre", mentioning that he was a talented musician.
They later developed a strong friendship and working relationship that later grew into something much bigger than just friendship.

From then,from “Andre,” the name “Daddy Andre” was born and baptized by Selecta Jeff & Beenie Gunter, a brand that later dominated the Ugandan music scene.
