Singer Prince Omar has come out to share his thoughts on the prevailing issue of drug usage among artists in the music industry.
He didn’t speak against the usage but advised artists to control their drug intake to avoid potential complications that could arise.
While on an interview with Spark TV, Omar said that many artists turn to drugs to boost their confidence or to appear cool in front of their peers and fans.
However, he cautioned that unchecked drug usage could lead to serious consequences that could have been otherwise avoided.
Prince Omar: " Everyone should control what they use because everyone has a right to live their own lives. We need to make sure that the drugs are not taking control because that would cause some nasty consequences."
