It’s A Man To Move Into My House, Not Me to his – Cindy Sanyu
The king herself Cindy Sanyu has sparked a lively debate on social media with her controversial approach to marriage.
Years back while she was still single, she made it clear that she would never move into a man’s house after marriage, insisting that it was the man to move into instead.
Now married and living with her husband Prynce Okuyo in her own house, Cindy Sanyu is still standing firm on her decision. She attributes her stance to past experiences of moving from one man’s house to another during her youthful days. This has helped her avoid all this drama, especially in case of separation.
Cindy Sanyu: “As a woman, you decide. You get tired of moving from house to house and after some time you decide that if someone loves me, they will move here so that when they want to go, they will, without disturbing you.
You stay in your space and things remain constant and people will not say that you have been thrown out of the house and you are stuck in the compound, they will see the man. He goes with everything he owns; plus, the ones I bought him because they belong to him. So, I do not move in, you move in and we create a life together,”
Cindy Sanyu and Okuyo exchanged vows on 11th December 2021 and they have two children together. With this arrangement, the self-styled King Herself aims to create a more stable environment, especially for her children. By her man moving in, she ensures that her children can maintain a sense of permanence and continuity.
