It’s still too early to judge Eddy Kenzo on his new role – Mikie Wine
The recent appointment of singer Eddy Kenzo as the Senior Presidential Advisor on creatives stirred a lot of mixed feelings among the netizens including some artists.
This included some politicians as well, such as Kira Municipality MP, Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, and Maria Matembe criticizing President Museveni for appointing artists to government offices in an act they considered as a way of trying to neutralize NUP president, Bobi Wine.
When Mikie Wine was asked to share his opinion about the appointment of Eddy Kenzo to a government job, he congratulated him but maintained that it is too early to criticize him before even serving his people.
He asked all Eddy Kenzo critics to give him time saying the criticism should come in after a series of seeing his works.
