Mowzey Radio’s mother seeks Ugx 350m to buy neighbor’s land to get unrestricted access to son’s burial site
The late singer Mowzey Radio’s mother Jane has publicly appealed for financial aid of Ugx 350m to rescue her son’s property.
While addressing the press earlier, Ms. Kasuubo Jane revealed that she doesn’t own part of the land where her late Mowzey Radio was buried in Kagga in 2018.
She added that after a short period, access to her late son’s burial site will be restricted because people currently cross through a privately owned land to get there.
She acknowledged her agreement with the private landowner, who asked for a staggering Ugx 350M to sell the property to her.
She asked for assistance from the Uganda National Musician Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo, who claimed she didn’t have the required administrative documents before she could be helped.
Eddy Kenzo, however, vowed to contact her, however, a year has passed now without hearing from him.
Adding on, Ms Kasuubo Jane pleaded for financial assistance from well-wishers, to raise the required funds to save her son’s monumental burial site.
