Police intervene as Alien Skin's Fangone Forest Camp and Fik Gaza Camp faced off at Zzina Awards.
During the recently concluded Zzina Awards that happened yesterday thursday night, Fik Gaza camp and Alien Skin's camp got involved into a very serious altercation.
For a couple of months, two music camps; Fangone Forest and Gaza Empire have been at loggerheads due to their musical and ideological differences.
On Thursday, the two camps crossed paths during Galaxy FM’s Zzina Awards which were held at the International University of East Africa Auditorium.
With each camp boasting more than 30 members, they got into a physical altercation midway through Fik Gaza’s performance.
It took the police’s intervention to separate the two camps and the awards show had to be paused for close to an hour as calm was restored.
A couple of attendees including media personalities, singers, among other celebrities were seen fleeing the venue amid the chaos.
Several entertainment critics have since commented on the incident, speaking against the increased chaos that has engulfed the music industry lately.
