The famous Nollywood Actor Mr.Ibu breathed his last yesterday, fans mourns his death.
Mr. Ibu is reported to have passed away on Saturday 2nd March 2024 after a long while on his sickbed.
The 62-year-old Nollywood veteran passed away at Evercare Hospital, Nigeria, according to reports from sources close to him.
In October 2023, Mr. Ibu revealed that he was suffering from an ailment that threatened to amputate one of his legs.
He said he was struck by the problem while on a movie set with other Nollywood actors and actresses before appealing to the public for prayers and financial assistance to cover his medical bills.
Mr. Ibu had undergone surgeries. Last year, there was tension on social media after a hoax when he was falsely reported to have breathed his last due to illness.
The news of his passing has left many of his fans grieving. On social media, several messages of condolences to his family and friends have started pouring in.
Mr. Ibu is famously known for his comedic roles in several movies including Mr. Ibu (2004), Police Recruit (2003), Mr. Ibu in London (2004), Ibu in Prison (2006), and Keziah (2007) among others.
